Leslie believes that yoga is most powerful when it is personalized and adapted to fit the unique needs and abilities of each individual. For Leslie, yoga is not about mastering poses and positions – it’s about empowering people to feel better physically, emotionally, and spiritually regardless of their current physical or mental state.
Leslie is committed to helping people free themselves from suffering, dysfunctional patterns and distractions and develop more nurturing, mindful and beneficial behaviors. Through gentle movement, controlled breathing, journaling, meditation and many other tools from her specialized training and life experience, Leslie will provide guidance to uncover a more authentic balanced happier version of who a person truly really is. Leslie's background and personal story
My name is Leslie Carson, I am 61 years old, and I am passionate about the power of yoga to heal. Why? Because I have seen the transformative power of the practice in my own life and in the lives of my clients who want to live to their fullest. I feel great almost all the time and it wasn’t always that way. I have had issues with depression, addiction, back pain, knee pain, and low self-esteem, among other issues, and I want to shout to the rooftops and share how yoga has brought me here to this beautiful state of deep calm, balance, and joy, and bring as many people along with me as I can… before I can’t!

How does it work? We consider that you are a whole layered multi-dimensional human being.
We discuss where the suffering is showing up most and what imbalance is most accessible today. We talk about what you think and feel. Over time, we create a personal practice using the tools of yoga to empower you to bring balance to one or more layers of your body, mind, and emotions. They are all interconnected, and as one is affected positively, the others tend to follow. Ultimately, you will be able to apply the appropriate yoga tool at any moment to rebalance your body, mind, and emotions regardless of what is happening around you.
Leslie Carson has a BS in Biology, is a Yoga Alliance Certified RYT-500 Viniyoga teacher and Optimal State Specialist in Yoga Therapy for Mental Health with 20+ years of practice and teaching experience.
